SC Bilhares's David Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bento Barros in the 15th minute of play. Manuel Trindade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Anjos in the 16th minute of the match. Artur Martins had several of the SC Bilhares's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed David Sá as he didn't even see the shot coming. Artur Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but David Sá made a huge save. After 26 minutes, Jaime Leite mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Traquinai and the SC Bilhares players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Traquinai's Jaime Leite got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bento Barros in the 29th minute of play forced SC Bilhares's goalkeeper David Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bento Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. David Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Artur Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Anjos might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Trindade. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruno Anjos ran back to his position shaking his head. After 43 played minutes SC Traquinai got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Sousa. In the 47th match minute, SC Traquinai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bento Barros made a kick off. David Sá stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bento Barros's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. David Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bento Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Artur Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Bilhares's goalkeeper David Sá, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Bento Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Sá was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After having played for 69 minutes, Bruno Anjos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A collision led to SC Bilhares getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Vítor Fonseca hit a great ball. David Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Manuel Trindade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artur Viana in the 84th minute. In the 85th match minute, SC Traquinai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Sousa to maneuver through the defense. David Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jorge Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SC Traquinai had played much better football throughout.
