Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aloísio Vilaverde took the kick off in the first half of the match. Joel Valadão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Timóteo Cavaco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, SC Espinho's Paulino Leite got control of the ball when Miguel Caeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aloísio Vilaverde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Leite having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, SC Espinho's goal looked a bit too open when Aloísio Vilaverde came free, but Paulino Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timóteo Cavaco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Valadão, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th match minute, SC Espinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herberto Torres to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, GDEAREENSES's Hugo Vilalobos got a free kick in the 28th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danilo Portela to strike the kick off in the second half. After 60 played minutes, SC Espinho's Matias Gomes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Timóteo Cavaco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Espinho reached it. If Miguel Caeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in GDEAREENSES's zone, Danilo Portela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timóteo Cavaco came out of the goal and Danilo Portela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Portela in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Timóteo Cavaco saved GDEAREENSES from getting behind. In the 76th match minute, SC Espinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damião Brites to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, GDEAREENSES's Adélio Ramos tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 80 minutes, Aloísio Vilaverde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GDEAREENSES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aloísio Vilaverde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulino Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio Vilaverde in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Aloísio Vilaverde ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulino Leite was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 91 played minutes Danilo Portela rounded GDEAREENSES's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Timóteo Cavaco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Portela in the 96th minute of play. Paulino Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Caeiro in the 99th minute of the match. GDEAREENSES were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Espinho for a fine match.
