Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ricardo Mendes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 minutes, Cristiano Correia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anarco-Açores Clube and the Vermiosa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes Anarco-Açores Clube got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Correia. After having played for 6 minutes, Bento Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anarco-Açores Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bento Nascimento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Mendes in the 12th minute of play forced Anarco-Açores Clube's goalkeeper Joel Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 minutes of play, Vermiosa FC's Dércio Peseiro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Torres was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dércio Peseiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Torres having to interfere. Bento Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Daniel Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Mendes in the 38th minute of play. Daniel Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bento Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Vasco Vilar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Joel Torres made a huge save. Vasco Vilar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Torres having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vasco Vilar during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 57 played minutes Vermiosa FC got a freekick which was hit by Vasco Vilar. In the 59th minute, Bento Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pascoal Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Joel Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Mendes in the 69th minute of the match. After 71 minutes of play Vermiosa FC's Vasco Vilar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Vermiosa FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Vasco Vilar hit a great ball. Dércio Peseiro struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Joel Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vermiosa FC. Vasco Pires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vasco Pires in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Costa saved Vermiosa FC from getting behind. In the 91st minute Vasco Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Torres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dércio Peseiro in the 93rd minute. The Anarco-Açores Clube supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vermiosa FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Vermiosa FC.
