Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Almiro Santiago kicked off to start the match. Rogério Águas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Almiro Santiago, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldo Eiró in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Seixas saved Os Cabanenses from getting behind. Celso Setúbal scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rogério Águas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Os Cabanenses defense, Nicolau Estrela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Seixas. The Os Cabanenses fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Seixas should have stopped the shot. Vivaldo Sales charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vivaldo Sales the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vivaldo Sales hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Guilherme Barata, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. João Seixas kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Nicolau Estrela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Manuel Seixas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Os Cabanenses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vivaldo Sales to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, F.M. City's Guilherme Barata broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Nicolau Estrela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Seixas having to interfere. Manuel Seixas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Eiró, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolau Estrela struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Manuel Seixas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.M. City. Nicolau Estrela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Manuel Seixas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolau Estrela to strike the kick off in the second half. Rogério Águas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Viegas in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute of the match Sidónio Sacramento shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rogério Águas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ronaldo Eiró could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Manuel Seixas made a huge save. Almiro Santiago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Os Cabanenses's goalkeeper Manuel Seixas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Almiro Santiago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Setúbal in the 71st minute of play forced F.M. City's goalkeeper Rogério Águas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Almiro Santiago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Águas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldo Eiró struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Manuel Seixas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.M. City. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
