Carlos Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Malta in the 30th minute of the match. Hugo Leiria had several of the Moçarria - Santarém's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 31 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Juvenal Gonçalves as he didn't even see the shot coming. Juvenal Gonçalves had great luck who in the 36thth minute grab hold of the ball when Lourenço Abreu from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Sarnada's goalkeeper Carlos Torres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Hugo Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Juvenal Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The referee gave SC Sarnada a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rafael Nunes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Moçarria - Santarém's Juvenal Gonçalves. 3-0. Hugo Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Torres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diogo Osório went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. SC Sarnada's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
