The Manel Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvério Portugal should have stopped the shot. Simão Pegado hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Yuri Regalado kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match Paulo Vieira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvério Portugal skillfully saved the ball. Silvério Portugal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cláudio Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 30 minutes into the match, Manel Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Cunha came free, but Silvério Portugal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adolfo Dias to make the kick off. With his leg Silvério Portugal managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Criacao FC's Cláudio Moura fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Cunha in the 61st minute of play forced Manel Football Club's goalkeeper Silvério Portugal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cláudio Moura came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Criacao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cláudio Moura couldn't finish the play. Cláudio Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvério Portugal having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Ricardo Cunha fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Silvério Portugal made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Cláudio Moura sent off a good shot on target. Manel Football Club's Silvério Portugal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armindo Rodrigues in the 75th minute of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Cláudio Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Criacao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cláudio Moura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Manel Football Club's zone, Ricardo Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvério Portugal came out of the goal and Ricardo Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cláudio Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
