Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mariano Lustosa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mariano Lustosa charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariano Lustosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mariano Lustosa kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th match minute, Portunhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedito Jordão to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Luís Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moita's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Tinoco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nuno Leite charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nuno Leite the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Moita's Nuno Leite got a free kick in the 19th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Portunhos's Aparício Prada tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 22 played minutes Portunhos got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Nogueira. António Moreira might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Tinoco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. António Moreira ran back to his position shaking his head. 28 minutes into the match, António Moreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Tinoco. Portunhos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that António Moreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If António Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cândido Leiria in the 33rd minute of play. In the 42nd minute, one of Portunhos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Portunhos. Carlos Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Leite in the 49th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when António Moreira made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Portunhos booed when Moita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuno Leite hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Sandro Rocha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Figueiredo's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. The goalkeeper, Carlos Tinoco, was totally fooled by Moita's Luís Azevedo, who 65 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Sandro Rocha came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Portunhos's Mauro Figueiredo. But to his dismay, Mauro Figueiredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After some careless play in the Moita defense, Saúl Sabrosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sandro Rocha. The Moita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sandro Rocha should have stopped the shot. When Mariano Lustosa came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Portunhos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lustosa couldn't finish the play. If Mauro Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cândido Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Portunhos's Rafael Nogueira got his second yellow card of the match in the 84th minute. The referee ordered Rafael Nogueira off the ground. Rafael Nogueira hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Carlos Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 played minutes Portunhos got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Lustosa. Carlos Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Moreira in the 94th minute of the match. Mauro Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Rocha having to interfere. Moita's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
