The attack was good, but when Alexandre Rocha in the 4th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Alqueidao's Alexandre Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandre Rocha scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Trindade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Vicente Baptista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jaime Silva. Alqueidao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Baptista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After having played for 22 minutes, Vicente Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malicias FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Baptista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lúcio Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Baptista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jaime Silva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Malicias FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Marco Setúbal hit a great ball. Alqueidao's Jaime Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Pinto in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Lúcio Morais had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Trindade. Malicias FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lúcio Morais was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Jaime Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Pinto in the 45th minute of the match. Alqueidao's Jaime Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Alqueidao from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basílio Pinto made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Basílio Pinto made a precise shot to the right of Jaime Silva. Alqueidao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. When Alqueidao's Alexandre Rocha in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Rocha in the 76th minute of play forced Malicias FC's goalkeeper Carlos Trindade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Alqueidao's Bruno Almeida got a free kick in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lúcio Morais got free with Carlos Trindade in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basílio Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Silva having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
