Roques FC's Vasco Zambujal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Coimbra in the 65th minute of play. Adelino Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Zambujal having to interfere. After having played for 82 minutes, Luís Santarém managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Armoniz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Santarém was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gonçalo Graça came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Roques FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonçalo Graça couldn't finish the play. Adelino Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Zambujal having to interfere. The supporters of Armoniz FC booed when Roques FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Barroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armoniz FC's Sandro Martins managed to work through Roques FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Sandro Martins dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Roques FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
