With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filipe Borges in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sandro Amaro saved SC Sequeade from getting behind. After having played for 22 minutes, André Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mouraz's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Pires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Diamantino Lisboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute of the match, Diogo Ferro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Augusto Mendes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A hard shot 32 in the game by Diamantino Lisboa from a close distance when the talented Augusto Mendes managed to make a qualified save. Mouraz's players were relieved. In the 34thth minute of the game Diogo Ferro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mouraz's Augusto Mendes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Diamantino Lisboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Sequeade's supporters rose to their feet, but Diamantino Lisboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Mendes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Gonçalves during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SC Sequeade booed when Mouraz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. Filipe Borges struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Sandro Amaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mouraz. After having played for 74 minutes, Diogo Ferro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Sequeade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diogo Ferro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Filipe Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Sandro Amaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Ferro in the 84th minute of play forced Mouraz's goalkeeper Augusto Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Diogo Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Gonçalves was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 89 played minutes Mouraz got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Gonçalves. Augusto Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diamantino Lisboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. If Diogo Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mouraz would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
