Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomé Velasques got the match started through his kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lata FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! In the 12th minute, one of Lata FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lata FC. In the 14th minute there was a penalty for Mendo. Tomás Tavares stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Yuri Guterres. 0-2. Yuri Guterres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Morais in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Brás in the 22nd minute of play forced Lata FC's goalkeeper Yuri Guterres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yuri Guterres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Morais in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match Tomás Tavares shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yuri Guterres showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lata FC's Yuri Guterres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Brás in the 35th minute of play. Tomás Tavares, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jorge Barros struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Yuri Guterres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mendo. In the 42nd minute, Benedito Tomé hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomé Velasques, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ricardo Brás in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Yuri Guterres, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 53 minutes into the match, Ricardo Brás had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yuri Guterres. Lata FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardo Brás was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Yuri Guterres acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nuno Morais. Thanks to some nice moves Ricardo Brás could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Yuri Guterres however easily saved by the left post. In the 66th minute, Mendo's Nuno Morais ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yuri Guterres. Yuri Guterres yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Simão Igrejas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Carneiro having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Nuno Morais fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Yuri Guterres, passed just outside the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuno Morais in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yuri Guterres saved Lata FC from getting behind. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lata FC's goalkeeper Yuri Guterres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ricardo Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Guterres having to interfere. Carlos Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomé Velasques in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Tomé Velasques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
