Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Faro United's Silvério Casado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. SC Lisei's André Borba got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 7 minutes of play, SC Lisei's André Borba made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dimas Caneira was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Fonseca in the 10th minute of play forced Faro United's goalkeeper Dimas Caneira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Faro United getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Anselmo Malafaia hit a great ball. After 17 minutes of play, SC Lisei's Jaime Fonseca made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dimas Caneira was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Fonseca in the 21st minute of play forced Faro United's goalkeeper Dimas Caneira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Faro United's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Fonseca came free, but Dimas Caneira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Borba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dimas Caneira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Borba in the 28th minute of the match. André Borba scored 0-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dimas Caneira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Borba in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dimas Caneira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Anselmo Malafaia came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Faro United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Malafaia couldn't finish the play. After 42 played minutes SC Lisei got a freekick which was hit by Gil Cabral. The supporters of Faro United booed when SC Lisei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Dimas Caneira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Fonseca in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute SC Lisei were awarded a corner. Emanuel Domingues went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Jaime Fonseca managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. André Borba's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Dimas Caneira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. SC Lisei's André Borba got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. André Borba struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Dimas Caneira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Lisei. André Borba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Dimas Caneira made a huge save. After 80 played minutes SC Lisei got a freekick which was hit by André Pedroso. Jaime Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimas Caneira having to interfere. Silvério Casado struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Pedro Guerreiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Faro United. André Pedroso hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Anselmo Malafaia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Guerreiro having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, SC Lisei's goal looked a bit too open when Silvério Casado came free, but Pedro Guerreiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Faro United's zone, André Borba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimas Caneira came out of the goal and André Borba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Faro United's Anselmo Malafaia got a free kick in the 95th minute.
