Vimeiro's Normando Caldas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Leiria in the 8th minute of play. Silvestre Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Normando Caldas having to interfere. Vivaldo Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Cruz having to interfere. Vimeiro's Normando Caldas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Leiria in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Cristóvão Seabra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rodrigo Cruz. Cristóvão Seabra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 69 minutes into the match, SónicBillys da Moita's goalkeeper Rodrigo Cruz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristóvão Seabra. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Cristóvão Seabra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vimeiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristóvão Seabra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to SónicBillys da Moita getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Bernardo Setúbal hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Silvestre Leiria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vivaldo Vargas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. Vimeiro's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Vivaldo Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristóvão Seabra got free with Rodrigo Cruz in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Vimeiro's Vivaldo Vargas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodrigo Cruz. That made the score 2-2 after 89 minutes of play. In the 92nd match minute, Vimeiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Curado to maneuver through the defense. Cristóvão Seabra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Cruz having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
