Camaroes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Simply the best the free kick. After 39 played minutes Camaroes FC got a freekick which was hit by André Dantas. Bernardo Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquim Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Moutinho having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Camaroes FC's Gustavo Vaz got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Bernardo Moutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Joaquim Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Moutinho having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diamantino Ribeiro made a kick off. Simply the best's Joaquim Esteves got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With 53 minutes on the clock, Gil Figueiredo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 54 played minutes Simply the best got a freekick which was hit by Gil Figueiredo. Tomás Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Moutinho having to interfere. Joaquim Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-1. Joaquim Esteves took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Moutinho. Bernardo Moutinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.
