But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diamantino Henriques couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sernadinha FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Aleixo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adolfo Aleixo made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Jaime Caires sent off a good shot on target. leixoes sc's Jaime Caires got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcos Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diamantino Henriques, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Diamantino Henriques took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Marcos Carneiro to make any attempt to save it. In the 84th minute, Dércio Barcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Carneiro made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Eduardo Alves sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes into the match, Sernadinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Flores came free, but Adolfo Aleixo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Sernadinha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Fonseca to maneuver through the defense.
