Rodrigo Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. With an all-out effort, SC Terruge's Mário Moutinho threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Afonso Macedo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of SC Terruge booed when Canove FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Carmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If André Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mário Moutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Macedo in the 54th minute of the match. Mário Moutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Macedo in the 56th minute of play. Saúl Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rodrigo Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th match minute, SC Terruge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Tavares to maneuver through the defense. André Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Mário Moutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76th play minutes Afonso Macedo shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Mário Moutinho and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 93 minutes, Jacinto Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canove FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Alcântara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Afonso Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
