Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rubim Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Garcia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Óscar Salgueiro having to make a save. José Correia hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Prince of Goodgarden's Cristiano Liberato tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Ver FC defense, Rúben Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastião Gomes. The Ver FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastião Gomes should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the game, Basílio Garcia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ver FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Prince of Goodgarden the free kick. Gabriel Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Óscar Salgueiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Rubim Coutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prince of Goodgarden's supporters rose to their feet, but Rubim Coutinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastião Gomes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Veríssimo Carmo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Gabriel Amaral scored 1-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Óscar Salgueiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gabriel Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Óscar Salgueiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rubim Coutinho to strike the kick off in the second half. Gabriel Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Óscar Salgueiro having to interfere. Rúben Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastião Gomes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to Ver FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Diamantino Figueiredo hit a great ball. Sebastião Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rúben Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Garcia got free with Óscar Salgueiro in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 67 played minutes Prince of Goodgarden got a freekick which was hit by Veríssimo Carmo. Sebastião Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rúben Costa in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Pedro Garcia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gabriel Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Óscar Salgueiro having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Prince of Goodgarden got a freekick which was hit by António Portugal. Óscar Salgueiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Amaral in the 93rd minute of play. If Pedro Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
