The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sidónio Mourinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Caetano Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidónio Mourinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Rúben Valido was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 68th minute. SC Silvalde's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in SC Silvalde's zone, António Curado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caetano Baptista came out of the goal and António Curado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sidónio Mourinho in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caetano Baptista saved SC Silvalde from getting behind. Caetano Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Curado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rúben Valido's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gastão Ferrão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. With a little luck, Guardizela FC's Gastão Ferrão got control of the ball when Xavier Arruda tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 84 played minutes Guardizela FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Velasques. Xavier Arruda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Gastão Ferrão made a huge save. When António Curado came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Guardizela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Curado couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Guardizela FC had won after a very even match.
