In the 2nd match minute, SC Silvalde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veríssimo Viegas to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on Palvarinho's corner Fábio Resende fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Caetano Baptista quite easily take care of the ball. In the 8th minute, Palvarinho's Fábio Valente dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Xavier Arruda managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Silvalde's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavier Arruda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vítor Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fábio Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Veríssimo Viegas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vítor Nascimento was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Vítor Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rúben Valido in the 33rd minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Catarino Valente to make the kick off. Catarino Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xavier Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Nascimento having to interfere. In the 58th minute of the match, Rúben Valido tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vítor Nascimento saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 61 minutes into the match, SC Silvalde's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Valente came free, but Caetano Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Silvalde's Veríssimo Viegas got a free kick in the 61st minute. Xavier Arruda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 minutes, Manuel Faro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palvarinho and the SC Silvalde players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, Manuel Faro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vítor Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rúben Valido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to SC Silvalde getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Edgar Bernardes hit a great ball. Fábio Resende missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 79 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Caetano Baptista right hand side. In the 86th minute Catarino Valente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fábio Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caetano Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio Valente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Palvarinho had won after a very even match.
