Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when José Borba took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Benfica C.Branco's goalkeeper Inácio Sales had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Borba. A collision led to Benfica C.Branco getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Avelino Guterres hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, Henrique Oliveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henrique Oliveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Inácio Sales made a huge save. Inácio Sales made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Henrique Oliveira sent off a good shot on target. Ortigosa's Henrique Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Portugal charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Portugal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Benfica C.Branco's João Portugal got a free kick in the 15th minute. José Borba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Inácio Sales came out and tried to block the shot, but José Borba slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. José Borba struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Inácio Sales didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ortigosa. The supporters of Ortigosa booed when Benfica C.Branco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudemiro Rijo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Graciano Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 40 minutes into the match, Benfica C.Branco's goal looked a bit too open when José Borba came free, but Inácio Sales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inácio Sales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Faro, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Ortigosa's Álvaro Faro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inácio Sales made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Henrique Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ortigosa's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrique Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inácio Sales breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56thth minute of the game Henrique Oliveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Benfica C.Branco's Inácio Sales was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claudemiro Rijo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, José Borba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inácio Sales. Benfica C.Branco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Borba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. If José Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrique Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Inácio Sales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inácio Sales didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Borba went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Avelino Guterres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Benfica C.Branco's zone, Álvaro Faro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inácio Sales came out of the goal and Álvaro Faro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henrique Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Sales having to interfere.
