Inácio Sales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Queirós in the 21st minute of the match. After 23 minutes, Júlio Nunes made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Benfica C.Branco's Inácio Sales tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Augusto Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Inácio Sales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Benfica C.Branco's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Nunes came free, but Inácio Sales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Avelino Guterres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Queirós during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fundação Casillas's Augusto Queirós got a free kick in the 66th minute. The audience was convinced that Júlio Nunes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Inácio Sales was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. After 89 minutes of play Fundação Casillas's Augusto Queirós was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Fundação Casillas's Augusto Queirós got a free kick in the 90th minute. When Marco Guerreiro came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Fundação Casillas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Guerreiro couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Fundação Casillas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Benfica C.Branco throughout the match.
