A collision led to ATOMIC SPORT CLUB getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Rogério Neto hit a great ball. In the 15th minute Raul Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adelino Quintas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Tavares having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Adelino Quintas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Tavares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Adelino Quintas in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carlos Tavares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 29 minutes into the match, ATOMIC SPORT CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Galvão came free, but Carlos Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Horta in the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Adelino Quintas made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Tavares. ATOMIC SPORT CLUB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 36 minutes into the game, Rafael Cruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ATOMIC SPORT CLUB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Agunchos FC the free kick. After 36 played minutes ATOMIC SPORT CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Cruz. After 43 played minutes ATOMIC SPORT CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Neto. A collision led to ATOMIC SPORT CLUB getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Heitor Baptista hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raul Galvão to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, ATOMIC SPORT CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Horta came free, but Carlos Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Carlos Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Quintas in the 67th minute of play. But to his dismay, António Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Quintas in the 92nd minute of play forced ATOMIC SPORT CLUB's goalkeeper Carlos Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
