Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Nascimento got the match started through his kick off. Timothe Ventre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Resende having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Nascimento in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emílio Resende saved Zoio FC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lourenço Faria got free with Alexandre Paredes in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Zoio FC booed when Fc Gaiolas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandre Paredes came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Zoio FC's Cândido Alves. But to his dismay, Cândido Alves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Fc Gaiolas's goalkeeper Alexandre Paredes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cândido Alves. 20 minutes into the game, António Castro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Alexandre Paredes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 22 minutes, António Castro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zoio FC and the Fc Gaiolas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Daniel Nascimento might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emílio Resende. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Nascimento ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Nascimento in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emílio Resende saved Zoio FC from getting behind. Fc Gaiolas's Alexandre Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Bessa in the 31st minute of play. Emílio Resende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílcar Alves in the 34th minute of the match. Alexandre Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Bessa in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Daniel Nascimento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emílio Resende was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. In the 37th minute, António Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amílcar Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Emílio Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

60 minutes into the match, Daniel Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emílio Resende. Zoio FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 63rd minute, Cândido Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emílio Resende stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Nascimento's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Fc Gaiolas's Daniel Nascimento slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emílio Resende. That made the score 2-2 after 66 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Zoio FC defense, Daniel Nascimento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emílio Resende. The Zoio FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emílio Resende should have stopped the shot. After 73 played minutes Fc Gaiolas got a freekick which was hit by André Dias. Daniel Nascimento received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emílio Resende came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Nascimento slotted it home off the left post making it 3-4 in the 81st minute. 89 minutes into the match, Fc Gaiolas's goal looked a bit too open when Lourenço Faria came free, but Alexandre Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Fc Gaiolas's Daniel Nascimento slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emílio Resende. That made the score 3-5 after 93 minutes of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Fc Gaiolas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
