If António Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. António Antunes scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kevin Chagas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gustavo Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Chagas having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, SC Cestaco's goal looked a bit too open when Armindo Magalhães came free, but Kevin Chagas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th match minute, SC Cestaco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute of the match Fernando Aguiar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kevin Chagas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, SC Cestaco's Vítor Alcântara got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 42 minutes into the match, SC Cestaco's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Amaro came free, but Kevin Chagas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Chagas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Antunes in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedito Vilar to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, António Antunes made a precise shot to the right of Kevin Chagas. SC Cestaco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. A hard shot by Alberto Gomes from long distance, 55 minutes into the match, got Kevin Chagas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. António Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Chagas having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Fatacos's Armindo Magalhães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kevin Chagas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Armindo Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Chagas having to interfere. Vítor Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Fernando Aguiar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kevin Chagas. SC Cestaco's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. José Guarda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Gago, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute Vítor Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Guarda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If António Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Fatacos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
