Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) António Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Assis having to interfere. Gil Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Abel Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Miradeses's goal looked a bit too open when António Luz came free, but Abel Assis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Miradeses getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Vítor Fontes hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Canada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Teixeira came free, but Tomás Coimbra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Miradeses's zone, Gil Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Assis came out of the goal and Gil Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquim Viegas hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Paulo Paiva hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 32 played minutes Miradeses got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Domingues. Abel Assis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abel Assis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute of the match Rui Amaro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abel Assis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Américo Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Américo Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Tomás Coimbra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Américo Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Tomás Coimbra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 52 minutes into the game, Joaquim Viegas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canada FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Miradeses the free kick. Paulo Paiva shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After 56 played minutes Canada FC got a freekick which was hit by André Rodrigues. Miradeses's Paulo Paiva couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Canada FC. 61 minutes into the game, Raul Aleixo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miradeses's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canada FC the free kick. After 61 played minutes Miradeses got a freekick which was hit by Raul Aleixo. António Luz did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Abel Assis 63 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Miradeses's zone, António Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Assis came out of the goal and António Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miradeses's Abel Assis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Miradeses from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the game, António Luz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abel Assis. António Luz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 88th match minute, Canada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Abel Assis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Miradeses's Vítor Fontes got a free kick in the 97th minute. After 100 minutes Miradeses's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rui Amaro who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Rui Amaro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Abel Assis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Canada FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
