With an all-out effort, G.D.L Supastars's Oliveira Araújo threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Romão Eiró, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vladimiro Valério fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliveira Araújo having to interfere.

If Romão Eiró had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bruno Garcia made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Eusébio Garcia sent off a good shot on target.
