Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Seixosas FC's Jacinto Esteves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. André Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6th minute, Jacinto Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sapiaos's zone, Jacinto Esteves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Guarda came out of the goal and Jacinto Esteves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Sapiaos's José Guarda got control of the ball when André Figueiredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sapiaos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Jacinto Esteves scored to the left of an out of position José Guarda, making the score, 1-0. The supporters of Sapiaos booed when Seixosas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Seixosas FC's Jacinto Esteves got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Bessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Gaspar having to interfere. If André Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 32 minutes, Jacinto Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seixosas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Seixosas FC's André Figueiredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Guarda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Afonso Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Figueiredo in the 43rd minute of play forced Sapiaos's goalkeeper José Guarda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonso Mendes made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Figueiredo in the 55th minute of play forced Sapiaos's goalkeeper José Guarda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, António Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 72 minutes, André Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seixosas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vicente Figueiredo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. António Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Seixosas FC's Jacinto Esteves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Guarda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Seixosas FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sapiaos for a fine match.
