Murilo Lisboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. David Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aparício Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aparício Pedroso in the 16th minute of play forced Mind FC's goalkeeper David Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aparício Pedroso in the 24th minute of the match. David Mendonça stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aparício Pedroso's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Isac Palmeira succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 34th playminute. If Manuel Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Vaz in the 46th minute of play forced Sperare Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Leandro Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aparício Pedroso made a kick off. In the 64th minute, Cristiano Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Sperare Futebol Clube's Nicolau Melo got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute Isac Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isac Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mind FC booed when Sperare Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leandro Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isac Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Adriano Álvares's late challenge caught a Sperare Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aparício Pedroso in the 99th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sperare Futebol Clube players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mind FC.
