Sandro Brás came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bom De Copos United's Mateus Menezes. But to his dismay, Mateus Menezes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Sandro Brás made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateus Menezes in the 27th minute. Filipe Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Raul Calçada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Miguel Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Calçada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Miguel Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Filipe Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Lombardos's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipe Aguiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Calçada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filipe Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the match, Mateus Menezes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sandro Brás. SC Lombardos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mateus Menezes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Mota made a kick off. With splendid footwork Miguel Mota arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-2 by the left pole in the game's 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bom De Copos United's zone, Filipe Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Calçada came out of the goal and Filipe Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mateus Menezes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Brás having to interfere. Raul Calçada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to SC Lombardos getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Duarte Valente hit a great ball. Mateus Menezes might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sandro Brás. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mateus Menezes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute, SC Lombardos's Duarte Valente dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Miguel Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Lombardos's Filipe Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amadeu Trigueiro hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When Miguel Mota, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 92 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Raul Calçada was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Bom De Copos United's Adão Moniz got a free kick in the 95th minute. Raul Calçada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Mota in the 99th minute of the match.
