Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Palmiro Silveira got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th minute of the match Artur Belém shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adolfo Vilaça showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 12th match minute, Xisto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valério Simões to maneuver through the defense. Sidónio Taborda, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Serafim Marques charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serafim Marques the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Palmiro Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Vilaça having to interfere. When Os Trolhas's Humberto Valério in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Xisto's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Humberto Valério in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Vilarinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. João Vilarinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Valério in the 23rd minute of play. Simão Albuquerque hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Manuel Linhares made a precise shot to the right of Adolfo Vilaça. Os Trolhas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Humberto Valério received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. João Vilarinho came out and tried to block the shot, but Humberto Valério slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 38th minute. João Vilarinho was a little too slow when Humberto Valério got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafim Marques got free with João Vilarinho in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Humberto Valério was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Palmiro Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xisto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Palmiro Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alexandrino Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 58 minutes, Serafim Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A beautiful save bye Os Trolhas's goalie prevented a goal. Palmiro Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70thth minute of the game Palmiro Silveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Os Trolhas's Adolfo Vilaça was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manuel Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alexandrino Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Os Trolhas defense, Manuel Linhares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adolfo Vilaça. The Os Trolhas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adolfo Vilaça should have stopped the shot. Os Trolhas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Xisto for a fine match.
