When Sabino Fraga fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Os Trolhas's protests and gave Sabino Fraga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Sabino Fraga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute of the match Jorge Perdigão sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adolfo Vilaça skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Lameirinhas in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adolfo Vilaça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adolfo Vilaça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Macena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandrino Toscano hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Jickael Mackson FC's Maurício Diegues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Jickael Mackson FC from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Jorge Lameirinhas put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Adolfo Vilaça. Adolfo Vilaça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Macena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nuno Macena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Vilaça having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Jorge Lameirinhas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adolfo Vilaça was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Jorge Lameirinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Os Trolhas's Adolfo Vilaça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Macena in the 45th minute of play. When Jorge Lameirinhas came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Jickael Mackson FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Lameirinhas couldn't finish the play. The Os Trolhas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jickael Mackson FC were winning 0-2.

Virgílio Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Jickael Mackson FC's Jorge Perdigão couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 54th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Os Trolhas. Humberto Valério sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Os Trolhas booed when Jickael Mackson FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th match minute, Jickael Mackson FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Macena to maneuver through the defense. Maurício Diegues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Valério in the 71st minute of the match. Serafim Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Diegues having to interfere. Humberto Valério sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandrino Toscano struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Maurício Diegues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Os Trolhas.
