Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anselmo Matias got the match started through his kick off. After 7 played minutes, Ladrongueira's Fernando Carneiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gusmão Paião came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ladrongueira reached it. 15 minutes into the match, Marujal's goal looked a bit too open when Bento Guarda came free, but Gusmão Paião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Américo Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gusmão Paião having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Jacob Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marujal's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacob Araújo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Marujal's Anselmo Matias in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ladrongueira's goalie prevented a goal. After 26 played minutes Marujal got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Aveiro. In the 28th minute Cândido Domingues suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After a rather tough play, Marujal's Avelino Severiano got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute of the match Tiago Neto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gusmão Paião showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leonardo Aveiro kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Ladrongueira's Américo Teixeira got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the game, Ladrongueira's Emanuel Amaral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gusmão Paião made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Jorge Ribeiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacob Araújo went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Marujal's Gusmão Paião got control of the ball when Américo Teixeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Américo Teixeira to make the kick off. Gusmão Paião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Teixeira in the 53rd minute of play. In the 53rd match minute, Marujal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Aveiro to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Matias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Ribeiro having to interfere. If Jacob Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Américo Teixeira in the 62nd minute of play forced Marujal's goalkeeper Gusmão Paião to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Ribeiro made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Jacob Araújo sent off a good shot on target. Ladrongueira's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Anselmo Matias scored to the left of an out of position Jorge Ribeiro, making the score, 1-2. After 74 played minutes Ladrongueira got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Aguiar. Jorge Ribeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flávio Tomé in the 75th minute. Américo Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacob Araújo got free with Jorge Ribeiro in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Emanuel Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 97 minutes into the match, Ladrongueira's Bento Guarda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gusmão Paião narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Marujal walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
