Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Carvalhais's Nicolas Paixão got a free kick in the 5th minute. The supporters of Carvalhais booed when SC Ervoes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Eusébio Marques cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Artur Serpa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 20 minutes into the match, Carvalhais's goalkeeper Artur Serpa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lúcio Sousa. In the 25th minute, Luís Alves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Carvalhais's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Alves came free, but Artur Serpa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandro Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Ruas, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After having played for 32 minutes, Adolfo Ruas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carvalhais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Ruas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eusébio Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Adolfo Ruas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Carvalhais's Artur Serpa got control of the ball when Eusébio Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Valério Paião fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carvalhais's protests and gave Valério Paião a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Carvalhais getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Valério Paião hit a great ball. Artur Serpa made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Eusébio Marques sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Delfim Cortez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sandro Dantas was relentless in the 48th minute of the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adolfo Ruas was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Carvalhais's goalkeeper Artur Serpa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sandro Dantas came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Carvalhais's Delfim Cortez. But to his dismay, Delfim Cortez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Adolfo Ruas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Sandro Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Delfim Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Ervoes's goalkeeper Sandro Dantas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sandro Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Ruas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 played minutes SC Ervoes got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Gonçalves. When SC Ervoes's Eusébio Marques in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carvalhais's goalie prevented a goal. In the 80th minute, Delfim Cortez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. After 88 played minutes SC Ervoes got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Gonçalves. When Carlos Raminhos fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carvalhais's protests and gave Carlos Raminhos a yellow card for diving instead. Eusébio Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Artur Serpa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Carvalhais had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
