Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alexandre Miranda made the kick off which started today's match. When João Leão fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ribeiradio FC's protests and gave João Leão a yellow card for diving instead. João Leão hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. When Augusto Macedo came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the SC Martinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Macedo couldn't finish the play. If Saúl Campelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Azevedo having to interfere. Rúben Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Almeida in the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, one of Ribeiradio FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ribeiradio FC. In the 30th minute, SC Martinha got a penalty, and Joaquim Moura placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. After having played for 33 minutes, Augusto Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Martinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Macedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Augusto Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto Macedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Augusto Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 played minutes SC Martinha got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Macedo. Álvaro Almeida might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rúben Rodrigues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Álvaro Almeida ran back to his position shaking his head. 64 minutes into the match, Ribeiradio FC's Alexandre Miranda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rúben Rodrigues narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Saúl Campelo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Azevedo having to make a save. In the 73rd minute, Saúl Campelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexandre Miranda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rúben Rodrigues having to make a save. In the 88th minute Augusto Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ribeiradio FC's zone, Saúl Campelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Azevedo came out of the goal and Saúl Campelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the SC Martinha players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
