An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Daniel Machado got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Daniel Machado struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Quintino Torcato didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arco. Daniel Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 minutes of play, Arco's Daniel Borges made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Quintino Torcato was left in no man's land by his defense there! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 52nd minute of the match Rafael Anjos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Quintino Torcato skillfully saved the ball. Albertino Aguiar charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albertino Aguiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd minute, one of Os Patinhos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Os Patinhos. The referee gave Arco a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rodrigo Pinto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Os Patinhos's Quintino Torcato. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Catarino Miranda in the 61st minute of play forced Os Patinhos's goalkeeper Quintino Torcato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Máximo Moura during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Máximo Moura hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Pinto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Quintino Torcato. Os Patinhos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 64th minute, Daniel Borges left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 67th minute, Joel Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 played minutes Os Patinhos got a freekick which was hit by Máximo Moura. In the 73rd minute, Daniel Borges made a precise shot to the right of Quintino Torcato.
