Quintino Torcato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Moura in the 6th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Luís Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lobatinhos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Moura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matias Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Os Patinhos's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Moura came free, but Quintino Torcato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Conde in the 28th minute of play forced Lobatinhos's goalkeeper Gonçalo Vilhena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Gonçalo Vilhena managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Os Patinhos's Vítor Eiró fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 35th match minute, Os Patinhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filinto Palhares to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Os Patinhos's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Moura came free, but Quintino Torcato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Matias Pacheco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Os Patinhos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
