Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Serafim Durães kicked off to start the match. When Salvador Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Valonguense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Amaral couldn't finish the play. Francisco Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafim Durães in the 7th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Viriato Caneira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Pantuluz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viriato Caneira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Valonguense's goal looked a bit too open when Avelino Guerreiro came free, but Elias Caldeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Avelino Guerreiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Caldeira having to interfere. After having played for 18 minutes, Avelino Guerreiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Pantuluz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Avelino Guerreiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. F.C. Pantuluz's Viriato Caneira got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Valonguense's zone, Avelino Guerreiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Caldeira came out of the goal and Avelino Guerreiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the game, Vasco Santiago was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. Pantuluz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valonguense the free kick. In the 30th match minute, F.C. Pantuluz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasco Santiago to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Gaspar made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Sálvio Colaço sent off a good shot on target. F.C. Pantuluz's Avelino Guerreiro got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Avelino Guerreiro was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Valonguense's goalkeeper Elias Caldeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viriato Caneira. Francisco Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafim Durães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the game, Viriato Caneira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. Pantuluz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valonguense the free kick. In the 55th minute, Viriato Caneira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elias Caldeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viriato Caneira in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafim Durães in the 68th minute of play forced F.C. Pantuluz's goalkeeper Francisco Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viriato Caneira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Elias Caldeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabiano Bulhosa hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Valonguense's Donato Castelo Branco broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 79 minutes into the game, Fabiano Bulhosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. Pantuluz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valonguense the free kick. F.C. Pantuluz's Francisco Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Durães in the 82nd minute of play. After 84 minutes of play, Valonguense's Serafim Durães made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Gaspar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Francisco Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Lucena in the 95th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Ivo Lucena notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of F.C. Pantuluz's Francisco Gaspar. Francisco Gaspar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Valonguense fans cheered their team off the field, for while F.C. Pantuluz had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
