Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. David Quaresma started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Romeiras FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Lúcio Castro hit a great ball. In the 4th minute David Quaresma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Gil Guterres notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Romeiras FC's Alfredo Pereira. Alfredo Pereira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 13 minutes into the match, Gil Guterres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Pereira. Romeiras FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gil Guterres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Romeiras FC's Alfredo Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio Corte-Real in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Ouguela booed when Romeiras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Quaresma blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Pereira having to make a save. Alfredo Pereira came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Ouguela's Carlos Baião. But to his dismay, Carlos Baião quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Alfredo Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laércio Corte-Real in the 26th minute of the match. Laércio Sá made an important save on a dangerous shot by Américo Fontes in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, Ouguela's David Quaresma got a free kick in the 31st minute. Gil Guterres hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After having played for 36 minutes, Américo Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romeiras FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Américo Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Laércio Corte-Real had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Pereira. Romeiras FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laércio Corte-Real was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Américo Fontes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Laércio Sá firmly grabbed it by the left post. Américo Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basílio Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Laércio Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Américo Fontes made the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Quaresma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Américo Fontes in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laércio Sá saved Ouguela from getting behind. After 60th play minutes Américo Fontes shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Laércio Sá and just under the crossbar into goal. Alfredo Pereira came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Ouguela's Lázaro Bettencourt. But to his dismay, Lázaro Bettencourt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Alfredo Pereira was a little too slow when David Quaresma got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 1-7. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 2-7 when Américo Fontes sped through Ouguela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Laércio Sá. Basílio Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Américo Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Laércio Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Américo Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avelino Bernardes hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of Ouguela were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Romeiras FC side.
