Riodades's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Miranda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Vidigal having to interfere. If Luís Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Riodades's Rui Miranda pulled a muscle in his leg after 21 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 22 played minutes Dragao FC got a freekick which was hit by Hermano Barcelos. João Mendes, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Carlos Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riodades's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Vidigal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Diegues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Queirós was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Gustavo Diegues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Queirós having to interfere. Riodades's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Miranda was the one to do the kick off. Riodades's Carlos Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Riodades from getting a goal against them. 54 minutes into the match, Riodades's goal looked a bit too open when Estevão Padilha came free, but Carlos Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Riodades's Fábio Dantas got a free kick in the 55th minute. A collision led to Dragao FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Hermano Barcelos hit a great ball. Gustavo Diegues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Queirós having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Diegues got free with Carlos Queirós in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Estevão Padilha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Queirós having to interfere. Carlos Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Diegues in the 96th minute. The Riodades supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dragao FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Dragao FC.
