Hermano Caiado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 14th minute, Tomás Pinheiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 15 minutes, Jacob Galvão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estrela De Santo Andre and the SC Baralde players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jorge Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Hermano Caiado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kevin Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kevin Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Domingues having to interfere. José Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Camargo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, SC Baralde's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Camargo came free, but José Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 28 minutes into the game, when Henrique Costa put in a rough tackle. The goalkeeper, José Domingues, was totally fooled by Estrela De Santo Andre's Hilário Lopes, who 30 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 33rd match minute, SC Baralde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Bessa to maneuver through the defense. SC Baralde's José Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Camargo in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Renato Camargo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. José Domingues was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miguel Zarco hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Jorge Ferreira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermano Caiado was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. If Carlos Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Baralde's Jorge Ferreira got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miguel Zarco kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Jorge Ferreira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Hermano Caiado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. One of SC Baralde:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Estrela De Santo Andre:s goal. Augusto Borges's late challenge caught a Estrela De Santo Andre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augusto Borges helped the player get up and apologised. Estrela De Santo Andre's Kevin Vidal pulled a muscle in his leg after 66 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, SC Baralde's Fernando Barros got a free kick in the 67th minute. José Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Camargo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 73 minutes, Bruno Candal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estrela De Santo Andre and the SC Baralde players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Belém in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Domingues saved SC Baralde from getting behind. After 83 minutes of play, SC Baralde's Jorge Ferreira made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermano Caiado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jorge Moutinho's late challenge caught a Estrela De Santo Andre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Moutinho helped the player get up and apologised. Hermano Caiado made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Jorge Ferreira sent off a good shot on target. Estrela De Santo Andre's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
