Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Laércio Baía kicked off to start the match. Jorge Ferreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Reginaldo Viegas made a huge save. In the 11th minute of the match Carlos Serpa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Domingues showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 12th match minute, SC Baralde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Bessa to maneuver through the defense. Laércio Baía struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. José Domingues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Vegia. In the 18thth minute of the game Laércio Baía who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Baralde's José Domingues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jorge Macedo charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Macedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SC Vegia's Jorge Macedo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Vegia! Fernando Barros shot the penalty kick right outside the post. With a little luck, SC Vegia's Reginaldo Viegas got control of the ball when Jorge Ferreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Reginaldo Viegas managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when SC Baralde's Jorge Ferreira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Micael Calheiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Pinheiro made a kick off. Jorge Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Reginaldo Viegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, SC Vegia's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Pinheiro came free, but Reginaldo Viegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Reginaldo Viegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of SC Vegia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Baralde:s goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Ferreira in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reginaldo Viegas saved SC Vegia from getting behind. Reginaldo Viegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Bessa in the 76th minute of play. Jorge Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reginaldo Viegas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Pinheiro's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. If Jorge Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reginaldo Viegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Reginaldo Viegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Micael Calheiros was extremely unlucky when he, in the 97th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. SC Baralde's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
