Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Domingos Nascimento took the kick off in the first half of the match. Severiano Madeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Coelho having to interfere. When Domingos Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the lokomotiv fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingos Nascimento couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute, Xavier Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute of the match Valentim Ferro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xavier Coelho skillfully saved the ball. In the 11th minute of the match, Xavier Coelho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hermes Lima was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 22 minutes into the match, Domingos Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xavier Coelho. Xisto FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domingos Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 25th minute Domingos Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavier Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomé Leitão hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Severiano Madeira struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Xavier Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for lokomotiv. Gabriel Maia's late challenge caught a lokomotiv's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Maia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th minute, Domingos Nascimento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The lokomotiv fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Basílio Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xisto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Basílio Melo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermes Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half lokomotiv were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

lokomotiv's Hermes Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Coelho in the 53rd minute of play. Xavier Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, lokomotiv's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Melo came free, but Hermes Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermes Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Nuno Azevedo hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Basílio Melo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermes Lima was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Coelho in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermes Lima saved lokomotiv from getting behind. 90 minutes into the match, Carlos Coelho notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of lokomotiv's Hermes Lima. Hermes Lima was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched lokomotiv eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
