Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tomás Ribeiro made the kick off which started today's match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Ribeiro in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristóvão Guterres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benedita's Cristóvão Guterres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Bessa in the 7th minute of play. If Tomás Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Guterres having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Filipe Bessa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Ribeiro in the 18th minute of play forced Benedita's goalkeeper Cristóvão Guterres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Rochoso's Filipe Bessa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristóvão Guterres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristóvão Guterres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amadeu Amorim went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. André Pádua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. André Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filipe Bessa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomás Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olavo Carvalheira hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Benedita's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Duarte Brás was slow to take the kick. During this time Rochoso's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Duarte Brás got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cristóvão Guterres quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 46th minute, Filipe Figueiras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filipe Bessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Guterres having to interfere. After the first half Rochoso were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for André Pádua to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomás Ribeiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Cristóvão Guterres when he managed to save the team from getting behind. André Pádua kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Cristóvão Guterres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Filipe Bessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristóvão Guterres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Ribeiro in the 64th minute of the match. With a little luck, Benedita's Cristóvão Guterres got control of the ball when Filipe Bessa tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Filipe Bessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 played minutes Rochoso got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Fernandes. Olavo Carvalheira hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute Tomás Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão Guterres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Filipe Bessa came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Rochoso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Bessa couldn't finish the play. If Filipe Bessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Benedita fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rochoso were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
