Silvestre Figueiras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Antunes's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 39thth minute of the game Paulo Antunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Almoinhos's Silvestre Figueiras was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Sacoes FC's Paulo Antunes in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Antunes to make the kick off. Amadeu Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Sanches in the 57th minute of the match. When Pedro Gueifão came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Sacoes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Gueifão couldn't finish the play. Sacoes FC made a substitution. Nuno Moniz replaced Linus Ahlerot. In the 85th minute, Paulo Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute of the match Cayetano Bento shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvestre Figueiras showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 91st minute of the match Cayetano Bento sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvestre Figueiras skillfully saved the ball. Amadeu Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Idalécio Mansilha, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Sacoes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zeferino Brandão came free, but Amadeu Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Sacoes FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sacoes FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
