Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) BRANDAO FC's Adelino Baptista started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 12 minutes into the game, Adelino Baptista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lúcio Freitas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abel Jesus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Catarino Andrade made a huge save. 16 minutes into the match, Gonçalo Aleixo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of BRANDAO FC's Catarino Andrade. Catarino Andrade was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. José Costa's late challenge caught a SC Brasil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Costa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SC Brasil booed when BRANDAO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Faria hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. José Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Abel Jesus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Catarino Andrade made a huge save. 36 minutes into the match, BRANDAO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Aleixo came free, but Catarino Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Catarino Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Leite in the 37th minute of the match. Carlos Faria's late challenge caught a SC Brasil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Faria helped the player get up and apologised. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gonçalo Aleixo to make the kick off. If Lúcio Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Catarino Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Aleixo in the 58th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes SC Brasil got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Fernandes. In the 71stth minute of the game Adelino Baptista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Brasil's Lúcio Freitas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Catarino Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Jesus in the 73rd minute of play. José Costa hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 76 played minutes BRANDAO FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Faria. In the 78th minute of the match Jorge Fernandes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Catarino Andrade skillfully saved the ball. Adelino Baptista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Lúcio Freitas made a huge save. Catarino Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Leite in the 93rd minute of play. In the 97th match minute, BRANDAO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Costa to maneuver through the defense. Chants of BRANDAO FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as SC Brasil had held the ball for most of the match.
