Adelino Baptista scored 1-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amadeu Simões, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Sacoes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Santarém came free, but Amadeu Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Adelino Baptista reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amadeu Simões. The goal made the score 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, BRANDAO FC's Fábio Santarém sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeu Simões narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Paulo Antunes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Catarino Andrade. BRANDAO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Antunes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a rather tough play, BRANDAO FC's Carlos Faria got a free kick in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Rodrigo Paiva charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo Paiva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 played minutes Sacoes FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Paiva. Amadeu Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute Pedro Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Adelino Baptista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Amadeu Simões was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, BRANDAO FC's Adelino Baptista got a free kick in the 58th minute. Paulo Antunes succeeded in the game's 66th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. The Sacoes FC fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Sacoes FC's Paulo Antunes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 75th minute, one of BRANDAO FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BRANDAO FC. In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Sacoes FC. Rafael Dantas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Catarino Andrade. 3-4. Pedro Gueifão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Andrade having to interfere. Sacoes FC's Nuno Moniz was substituted for Linus Ahlerot. A collision led to BRANDAO FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Adelino Baptista hit a great ball. BRANDAO FC's Pedro Nunes got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sacoes FC's Cayetano Bento shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 98th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Catarino Andrade but with some difficulty. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sacoes FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
