Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nuno Pedroso kicked off to start the match. 10 minutes into the match, Nuno Fernandes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lucas Silva, 1-0. The SC Gilde fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when SC Gilde's António Soares looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nuno Fernandes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Lucas Silva skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 22nd minute Lucas Guarda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes SC Gilde got a freekick which was hit by David Costa. In the 26th minute of the match Cristóvão Fernandes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Guerreiro skillfully saved the ball. Lucas Silva made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when António Soares sent off a good shot on target. Lucas Silva was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gonçalo Dantas. SC Gilde's Alfredo Guerreiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Pedroso in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SC Gilde's Lucas Guarda got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 39 minutes SC Gilde's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristóvão Fernandes who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Areoza's corner Cristóvão Fernandes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alfredo Guerreiro quite easily take care of the ball. Alfredo Guerreiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Pedroso in the 40th minute of play. Lucas Guarda hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. A collision led to SC Gilde getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Heitor Bessa hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to Areoza getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Eusébio Matias hit a great ball. Areoza's Lucas Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Fernandes in the 63rd minute of play. Lucas Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. António Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Lucas Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If António Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Fernandes in the 75th minute of play forced Areoza's goalkeeper Lucas Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Pedroso in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, SC Gilde's goalkeeper Alfredo Guerreiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Oliveira. 84 minutes into the match, SC Gilde's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Pedroso came free, but Alfredo Guerreiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lucas Guarda was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. In the 85th match minute, SC Gilde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Guarda to maneuver through the defense. António Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Monteiro hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the match, Areoza's goal looked a bit too open when António Soares came free, but Lucas Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Areoza's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
