Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Bencatel's Fabrício Esteves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in SC Bencatel's zone, Tiago Quental stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Borba came out of the goal and Tiago Quental tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 4th minute, António Silveira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ricardo Borba. The goal made the score 1-0. Mário Poças scored 2-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Borba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 10 in the game by António Silveira from a close distance when the talented Ricardo Borba managed to make a qualified save. SC Bencatel's players were relieved. Ricardo Borba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Quental in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Tiago Quental recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ricardo Borba. Tiago Quental showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Carregosa FC's Tiago Quental was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 17th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when António Silveira got free with Ricardo Borba in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. André Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Bencatel's zone, Tiago Quental stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Borba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Tiago Quental kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo Borba. That made the score 6-0 in the 34 minute of play. A hard shot 46 in the game by António Silveira from a close distance when the talented Ricardo Borba managed to make a qualified save. SC Bencatel's players were relieved. António Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ricardo Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiago Quental was the one to do the kick off. If Tiago Quental had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiago Quental fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Borba having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Quental in the 66th minute of play forced SC Bencatel's goalkeeper Ricardo Borba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Borba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. In the 95th minute Amílcar Moniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Carregosa FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
