Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mariano Ferro kicked off to start the match. Henrique Martinss short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Daniel Delgado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandre Fonseca during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alexandre Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Duarte Anjos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Ferro in the 8th minute of the match. A collision led to SC Ferrel getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Alexandre Fonseca hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Vidal's David Porto tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mariano Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Anjos having to interfere. Duarte Anjos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Ferro in the 20th minute of play. Duarte Anjos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Vaz's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. During the 27th minute of the match Alexandre Fonseca completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alexandre Fonseca a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to SC Ferrel getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Alexandre Fonseca hit a great ball. Duarte Anjos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, SC Ferrel's goal looked a bit too open when David Vaz came free, but Duarte Anjos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If David Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Paiva struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Duarte Anjos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vidal. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Eduardo Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Ferrel's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Delgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If David Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrique Martins was the one to do the kick off. Henrique Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Delgado having to interfere. David Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Vidal booed when SC Ferrel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Assis didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Anjos having to interfere. David Vaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duarte Anjos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Vaz ran back to his position shaking his head. SC Ferrel's Duarte Anjos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save SC Ferrel from getting a goal against them. Vítor Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henrique Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Delgado having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, SC Ferrel's Henrique Martins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Delgado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 92 minutes into the game, Bernardo Paiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Duarte Anjos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
