An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Santos in the 5th minute of play forced S.bento's goalkeeper Abílio Castelo Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Henrique Martins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abílio Castelo Branco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Abílio Castelo Branco came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Ferrel's Henrique Martins. But to his dismay, Henrique Martins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Eduardo Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abílio Castelo Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, S.bento's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Martins came free, but Abílio Castelo Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. S.bento's Abílio Castelo Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Martins in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of SC Ferrel booed when S.bento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafim Sabrosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adérito Rodrigues charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adérito Rodrigues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SC Ferrel booed when S.bento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adérito Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abílio Castelo Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Martins in the 33rd minute of the match. After 35 played minutes Gastão Gonçalves rounded SC Ferrel's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Gastão Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Duarte Anjos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.bento. Duarte Anjos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gastão Gonçalves in the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gastão Gonçalves made a kick off. Serafim Sabrosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Duarte Anjos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of S.bento booed when SC Ferrel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafim Sabrosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A nice corner shot did that Júlio Soeiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Duarte Anjos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alexandre Fonseca hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Abílio Castelo Branco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique Martins in the 77th minute. In the 78th match minute, S.bento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adérito Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gastão Gonçalves in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duarte Anjos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abílio Castelo Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Santos in the 86th minute of the match. Gastão Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gastão Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 96th minute.
